Her kan du komme med kommentarer til indholdet på Café Puccini.
Du er også velkommen til at foreslå kornoder som du mangler.
You’re welcome to comment on scores found on Café Puccini and to suggest new scores. However I’ll only consider scores which will not infringe EU copyright laws.
I noticed that your scores use the creative commons “attribution, non-commercial, no derivatives” licence.
It isn’t absolutely clear to me that a non-profit choir performing these works has a licence to do so if admission is charged for the concert, which is normal practice as, after all, choirs need to find some way to cover their expenses.
Can it somehow be clarified that your licence is intended to convey that permission?
The only commercial restriction I want is preventing somebody to publish and sell my scores for profit. I do indeed want choirs to use my scores both for rehearsal and for public performances. Including performances with admission fees.
The CC license I use is probably too strict as I actually don’t mind people modifying my scores for improvements or other arrangements. I’ll update my scores with “CC BY-NC-SA 4.0” as they get revised. Future (public domaine) scores will be “CC BY-NC-SA 4.0”.
Thanks for raising this issue – much appreciated!
